AirForce guns barrel Droop??
Does your airforce air gun suffer from Barrel Droop? Some on the Yellow Forum seem to think So. Mine don’t. 😆

I have the rear mount shimed, but only to give me more adjustment at long range with the target turrets.
The only thing drouping around here is me. 😥

Mr-Lama Hey ya I did that sorta when I got my condor from airhog the first thing that I noticed was a set screw hanging out the front bottom of the frame. shoulda left it alone. Just had to tighten it Flush. Months later had to take the barrel out to see how it was to barrel swap. By then the frame cap hole had a good ol egg shape. Nothing a good ol round file couldn’t fix. Now I know 2 set screws bite into plastic Thanks to TAG.
BTW It won’t tightened enough to effect the barrel.

I had reverse droop one time when I tightened my shroud screw way too much and it pushed the barrel up. That’ll destroy a shroud. 😛
Droop? No… but I think the ultra-high scope mount position can toss a wild card into sighting in a scope, depending on the mounts you use.
Thats likely the problem – not enough adjustment with high mounts and a short zero.
When ever my airgun barrel droops I just shoot a little blue pellet. 😆
The scope rail is parallel to the frame and the barrel is mounted in the frame with two bushings that are hopefully the same size.
If they have droop then there’s something wrong with the shooter, the gun or quite possibly both (ie.. something wrong with the gun as a result of the shooter).

Might it be possible that by over tightening the lower barrel bushings you could bend the barrel into an upside down ‘U’ shape thus mimicking barrel droop. It might also be more pronounced with loose fitting bushings.
