more power in condor
What can i do to my condor to make it more powerful i still have the 80 grain hammer and highflow valve but now i have an 18″ .25 barrel on it and i want to be able to reach out and touch things to about 125 yds i dont know much about the rifle had it apart a couple of times experimenting with the stock hammer a talon hammer and a 95 grain hammer when it was 22. I want to do all the work myself because i really dont want to send it off and not have it for a week or two. if any of you can think of something please let me know. also is it normal for the power adjustment on a condor to not change anything? i was on 0 power with an 80 hammer and shooting eunjins at around 1000 fps and it went lower the more i turned it up.

You might want to crony them in the .25 first. It is a bit more efficient at getting speed than the .22. More area to push on. Or so I have read here. 🙂

those were my 22 numbers havent been able to get ahold of any .25 EJs as of yet soon as i get some ill get it on the chrony and let ya know
Your getting 1000 fps out of EJ’s in .25 out of a 18″ bbl.? 😯 WooHoo! Sounds plenty powerful to me! 😀 I was hoping for 950’s with Kodiaks!

This is most likely caused by the heavy spring and not the valve. My blodnob valve is very efficient.
More fill psi with the heavy hammer and PW on 13 will help. Just don’t go over board on the fill psi….24″ barrel would help a lot……
Id like to try a bloodnob valve but i was reading somewhere on here that it was causing someones bolt and hammer to jumb back forward when fired resulting in airloss. As far as 110 grain hammer i think it would beat my bolt to hell wouldnt it?
blodnob valve i hear is pretty powerful
id go 110g at least to start with and stronger spring.

I have noticed that i am getting quite a few more shots per fill with .25 than i was with .22 but i have alot more 22 pellets than i do 25 so for now i put my 22 barrel back in now i am trying to make an effective shroud for it.
