Q:

I finaly did it!

I ordered my Condor from PA . and the shroud from airhog. I want to get a bluejay shroud for it also , but I had to put it on my card ,

I really shouldnt have done that . I couldnt help my self anymore.

I only ordered it in co2 to start, I figure Ill up grade when I get the doughnuts .

I have no idea how to install the shroud.

But at least I got my condor finaly!!! 😀 😀 😀

I had a partail tank dump one time and the shroud didn’t come off , but it made one hell of a gouge, for two inches or more another reason gtbj shroud is good

Thanks T, that sounds pretty easy.

you tighten that screw good…one of my friend’s had his shroud “Launch” down range like an air powered missle, lol, and once it took off, the air blast made everyone at the fun shoot stop and take notice, lol…

Tony

Congrats! The AH shroud is very quiet, I and a few of my friends have them on our Condor(.22)s on HPA…a friend has one of the Get the Blue Jay’s Shrouds on his Condor(.22) and its quiet but the AH seems to edge it out, ever so slightly. Both shrouds are very nice products and very well built, no doubt about it.

Under that front barrel bushing, undo the allen screw and it should slide right off, then slide the shroud on and tighten the screw.

Tony

Thanks Maw,

Hey Crow, I live in Sunny Buffalo 😯 , it rarely gets cold here ,he he

Boy that was a tough decision for me, Ruger mini 14, remington model 700 or airforce condor. I got to be nuts lol. I dont even want to tell the guys at work.

Well Im pretty excited about it , I guess i should have it in a week or so.

if u live where it gets cold co2 will suck but go to a paintball shop and get a tank heater
it is a battery powerd sleve for the tank keeps it tosty warm for winter paint balling

Good Deal! I’m sure you won’t regret it, great guns. Welcome to the club.

Yeah CO2 should be even more quiet. I have Airhog shrouds on 2 of my 3 (HPA) Condors. At <1,000fps they are extremely quiet. All I pretty much hear is the mechanical noise. I would imagine your CO2 Condor that shoots low-med. weight pellets at ~650fps to be mouse-fart quiet.

You will like it, don’t worry.. and the shroud is the easiest thing to install. Loosen up the last screw up front, insert shroud, tighten screw, you are done.

It will be pretty quiet with the shroud. Co2 is not as loud as HPA. If you live in a cold climate CO2 has its limits.

Airhogs told me that thier shroud would reduce the noise by 80%.

Im assumeing he meant on HPA, would it be even quieter on co2 ???

and is co2 all that good ? Im guessing around 600 fps with 14.5 gr pellets
