Prophet barrel cleaning practices
Did more slug testing last night. Tc 34.0G and was about ready to call them a Fail. Then I shot a 10 round group with 34.0G pellets that I know the gun loves and it did horribly. Took it inside and cleaned the barrel problem salved. I’m guessing I’m going to need to clean every time before I shoot. Or wash pellets!!! Eww ultrasonic cleaners going to be busy! Are there barrel extension kits available for the prophet? Incase I run into an issue with my next upgrade?

I also noticed my Prophet 25 H/P likes a clean barrel,,, After cleaning a tiny tiny bit of Dri slide sprayed on a patch run it through the barrel, Dry for 12 hours and the lead does not stick near as bad,,,Watch the Dri slide it will stain your fingers it beds into the metal, I have used it on my Veterans , Mutants, Crickets, Vulcans

No not for barrel cleaning. For cleaning slugs/pellets. Nobody else does this?

Hey thanks for the reply. That’s interesting 🧐 dri slide. I’ll google it. I just noticed I can shoot all day long but if I let it sit all night and then shoot the next day my groups open up.
