Caliber change for Talon .22 to a .177

I am thinking of picking up a .22 talon SS but would like a .177.

So I was thinking of picking up the .22 and buying another barrel and adding the TTQCTH will this work….

Currently I have a condor and was advised not to shoot .177 through it due to tank dump,

but if I remember correctly the talon has a smaller valve.
