Could a person charge a scuba tank from a Nitrogen tank?
My friend is considering buying a regulator for a 6K Nitrogen tank (around $300.00 😯 ) We are sure this tank is going to be WAY too heavy to tote around and were wondering if a person could fab up the necessary adaptors to charge a scuba tank from the Nitrogen tank? What are your thoughts on this please.

Probably could but I would mark it not for breathing all over the tank.
I dont why not either. My friend Terry has a 6000 psi Nitrogen tank. He fills his other bottles off that. Not sure what his set is. I fill my tanks up at Bruces(AKA:Curley, Airetex Compressors). Just make sure you dont over fill. If you want, I can go over to my frien Terry’s after church and take a pic of the set up if you want me too. I know you probably know this, but, make sure that take gets marked as having nitrogen in the scuba tank. I know its not going to be used for diving, but it wont hurt. Good luck in the set up. No reason why not with the correct fittings. You will have to fill slow though otherwise you will freeze up the regs….
When I fit a nitrogen unit for gassing up beer kegs, I always set it on the slow side to avoid the reg’ getting too cold. A frozen reg’ will often ‘fail-open’ leading to over gassing. A sencond reg’ in-between set at the max you want is always a good fail-safe.
Edit- Obviously, the second reg’ needs to be a high pressure in, settable pressure out.
