finally got it right
after two failed attempts i finally made one that works. I kept blowing my baffles loose because spot welding a solid washer in a piece of tube just wouldnt take the pressure. so i drilled 4 holes in each baffle vented my bushing, made the baffles where they could free float in the tube and spacd them with springs only the endcap and first baffle are welded in place and it is quiet. shot targets in my backyard all day sunday and noone heard a thing. i guess you have to screw up a couple of times before you really perfect anything.

slayer5 get you a piece of 1″ OD tubing some 5/16 USS flat washers and grind them down until they will free float inside the tube. Then drill 4 holes in each washer drill 4 holes in the tube where you want your first baffle. weld two of the washers together and line them up with the holes and spot weld them in place. Put a compression spring ontop of that baffle then stick one of your other baffles in followed by a spring. so on and so forth. when you get to the point where you want your endcap cut the tube where about 3/4″ of your spring is exposed, use the endcap to compress the spring spot weld it in place then weld all around it. depending on what mods you have you may need to drill a weep hole in your shroud drill a dimple not a complete hole just a dimple where you want the grub in the front of your frame to hold it and you are done it works well. all i can hear on mine is the ping from the bolt hitting the valve. mine is about 16-1/2″ overall. it is great will post a pic as soon as i figure out how.
