You can’t go wrong with the s410, I was in the same boat, I found out about the marauder as I was getting the cash ready for the s410.

My big yearly squirrel hunting trip happens in may, and I wanted to be ready with a air rifle tuned in with trajectory plotted out to 100 yards.

I just didn’t think with my luck I would have a Marauder dialed in and ready to go. Last year I had my SS all tuned up ready to rock, it killed a lot of squirrels. This year on top of my truck:

When the wind is calm enough.

I will have the SS, S410, and my buddy Doug with his Discovery all in .22 all ready to throw lead.

You are going to love the S410.

Did they change the stock design last minute or something? In the vid I saw it shows a angled front end, different than the pics I’ve previously seen. But I think the gun looks better in the vids.

sacshooter, I agree with your idea of shooting other guns at higher pressures, and then go to the Marauder for more shooting at lower ones, that would be cool. But 1000 fps in .22? I’ll believe that when I see it, with 14.3gr, nothing lighter. Jim Chapman could barely break 900 fps max power in his tests, and only with the RWS Superdomes. But maybe he didn’t tweak the gun to the max?

No doubt this gun looks interesting. I guess if time proves that this gun is all it’s cranked up to be, maybe I’ll get one later down the line, it’s a great price, but right now I couldn’t be pleased more with my latest purchase.

clear to see the theoben patens are expiring slowly….that magazine it uses is the same as theoben, and for that matter the Monsoon

wonder if they are interchangeable with theobens….at 100 bucks they are kinda expensive….crosman prolly wouldnt charge more then 30-50 bucks

but it really looks like a nice rifle….

Hatsan also just came out with a PCP, marketed under another name here in the US, Hammerli Pneuma PCP at 495 bucks, but no magazine

1000 FPS – 22cal
Dimed sized groups at 50 yrds….
Best rifle they have ever produced.

Let’s do it !

When I talked with Josh about the 100, he said they were going to launch some marauder videos the same day.

I love my talon ss, my s410, but watch the videos and think about how much fun one could have tweaking on this air rifle with a crony.

or just shooting paper and just tweaking 1/2 turn and see if the groups tighten up or open up. For me this sounds like air gun fun.

At first I was thinking I want to set it up at 3000psi more power right?

Then after watching the videos I find myself thinking 2200 psi, that way I can shoot my other toys until my cf tanks drop below 2800 then shoot the marauder until I need to refill. How cool would that be?

I thought the same thing about the discovery on a 2000 psi fill. My 17.9cf tank at 3200 psi would fill my SS three times to 2800 psi, but if I was to use it to fill the discovery to only 2000 psi I could fill it 14 times. But the discovery didn’t have a shrouded barrel or a 10 shot mag.

We will have to wait to see how the guns group, because If I can hit a bottle cap 4 out of 5 times at 50 yards with my SS on a calm day, I will expect the same from the marauder at a few dollars more.

time will tell, but I am excited, and I have respect for them because they are not just showing just showing videos of killing a hog with a 177 gamo pba pellet. They actually talk about being able to adjust the trigger, the fill, and the velocity. (words as an air gun shooter I understand) I think they are marketing to us….
