I just noticed that my notation for 1 revolution in 16″ of twist caused a ninja with nun-chucks to appear in my post! Sorry. The barrels are standard Lothar Walter barrels and I’m not aware if they make any other twists available. These slugs will work well if you have a powerful gun and you have at least an 18″ barrel. Naturally, I can’t forecast your exact results but I try to maintain an awareness of what the customers are getting out of the slugs. I’ve noted mostly positive feedback as most customers have very strong guns. The one poor showing was reported from a fellow here that is using a short barrel. I really appreciate the feedback from him as it allowed me to advise against anyone with a 12″ barrel using these slugs, they just need more room to accelerate. I’d rather lose the couple of sales than have pissed off customers thinking I had marketed “magic slugs” as a big lie!

If you’re interested in the 6 rings, you should have at least an 18″ barrel and be making 75 FPE with Kodiaks. The 7 ring slugs only need a touch more power but the 9 ring slugs demand a manly gun! I’ll be happy to answer reasonable questions via email and advise regarding slug selection but the customer really needs to know they’re gun if they expect decent advice…

I know there are several folks out there shooting cast bullets because several folks out there are getting them through me! Most of our customers are using 1:16 LW barrels.
