BSA Ultra Multishot .22 Bullpup
After picking up a piece of cherry wood I started to work on a small project.
Took the action of a standard BSA Ultra Mshot .22 18 ft/lbs rifle, fabricated a working second trigger group with two stages and re-designed the cocking system. Then I took the liberty of replacing the valve and hammerspring/weight. A little work on the tp and it did 10 consistent shots at 26 ft/lbs.
Then I started working on a thumbhole stock. I’m kind off a newbie as far as the woodworking goes.
It’s currently on a hold since I’m too busy with work, travelling etcetera.
This is where I am stranded at the moment.
Anyone with experience on the further finnish of the stock I am all open for suggestions. 🙂
P.S. Especially how to shape the pistol grip cherry’s kinda soft but still though on chisels.

looks like your off to a good start, have you figured out how the trigger is going to work?
just keep widdling away at it with some rasps, sand paper and what ever you can find to form the sand paper around to get your contours.
got any progress pics?

I have no idea about woodworking, but that is a lovely looking rifle and stock. Many people here will help you though,you can count on that.

Trigger works, two stages actually. No progress pics since I’m too busy and looking for someone who can tell me about sanding, checkering and finnishing the stock.
The scope is an AGS 4×32 M’dot IR came of an AR15.
The whole rifle is without silencer 42 cm “short” instead of long.
