CO2 questions
I have been reading many of the posts on this forum and they have been very helpful, BUT I still have several questions. I hope that they aren’t too basic:
1) Can a Condor on CO2 shoot small accurate groups out to 50 yds or do i need an air tank to shoot 50 yds?
2) How is the AF CO2 tank refilled? I have seen large CO2 cannisters sold at Wal Mart and a friend has a CO2 tank that he uses in his garage workshop.
Do the CO2 cannisters sold at Wal Mart have enough of a charge to fill an AF CO2 12 Tank?
Can the AF CO2 tanks be refilled safley from large floor standing CO2 tranks? How?
My CO2 experience is limited to using them to fill motorcycle tires that have flats. Generally, there is an adapter that screws into both the tire and the CO2 cannister. Is an adapter required to mate the CO2 cannister to the 12OZ AF CO2 tank?? Does the adapter come with the rifle? What sources of CO2 can be used with this adapter?
3) If I purchase a CO2 Condor I probably would also buy an air tank to use when I wanted more power. What modifications or adaptors would I need to change my power source from CO2 to Air?
There are three sizes of AF air tanks to choose from:
a. Hi Flow – std. on Condor
b. Talon –
c. Micro meter?
Are the capacity of the Talon and Condor tanks the same?
Is the micro meter just a smaller capacity or is the ability for air to flow limited?
I believe that I have read that the Talon tank with the restricted air flow provides less powerful but more accurate shots from the Condor. Is my understanding correct?

you dont fill the airforce tanks with co2 you filll a paintball tank with co2 any size paint ball tank works and you screw the paintball tank into the air force adapter… and you can get filled at walmart or weldig shop cheap few bucks. a 20 oz paintball tank is supposed to give you over 800 shots on a fill
i shot my 14 for well over 400 and it was still going and i am up to 400 now on my 20 oz tank and its still heavy so id say almost half full yet
the 3 tanks you mention well the hiflo and talon are same tank its a diff valve the hiflo valve is more open
the micro meter tank is smaller i believe
and accuracy
i was shooting small rocks and pebbles from 40-60 yards the other day with my condor up to 25 yards i am getting same hole accuracy
25-50 under 1/2 inch off a rest
i have the hiflo modded vlave in my gun and i am getting 25 good power shots befor it drops a lot this is on hpa
i also have a talon valve that i get more shots yet on hpa a better bell curve

I take mine to Dicks sporting goods ,But anywhere that fills paintball tanks.

they are the same bottles . the high pressure air ( HPA)is something different than co2. just return them to walmart for a fill , costs 3 bucks or so.

No the adapter allows you to screw the co2 bottle to directly into the gun no muss , no fuss, start shooting.

most paintball co2 bottles will work.
I think your confuseing the tanks and co2 bottles a little bit. The co2 doesnt require much , just a co2 adapter, the HPA is differnt, its much more powerfull than co2 but it requires a refill tank , adapter and airforce bottle, the co2 is simple and cheap and good for starting out. Thats what I use now , Ill upgrade later when my Condor is really paid for 😆

My Condor .22 on CO2 shoots 710 fps with the setting at 4.0 It is very accurate with Crossman 14.3g pellets. Standard deviation of 2.
I use a 20 oz. paintball tank. With the CO2 adapter, it is about the same length as the HPA tank.
I purchased a PMI CO2 Butt Plate from Compulsive Paintball, Inc. and it works well.
