Q:

Possible sling stud solution for Harris bipods

There was a little bit of extended interest in that bipod and sling-stud adapter I sold. I was looking around the ‘net for an inexpensive mount to maybe make a few more adapters, and I came across this gadget on the AoA website.

I don’t know how big that hole is, but it looks as though you could possibly mount a sling stud in there, either by drill & tap or the epoxy clay.

Only $15 too, so it might be worth the gamble for those who want to put a Harris-style bipod on their gun, but don’t want to use the “stud screwed into the frame” solution. (Remember, I said it’s a POSSIBLE solution, don’t shoot the messenger if it doesn’t work…)

It’s from Sportsmatch, part AB3 on the AoA website.

Just a heads-up for anyone interested.

No prob, Mike. Enjoy!

Kinda looks like it may be intended to be a scope stop originally.

Can’t wait to try that Bi-pod set up out that you sold me! 😀

Thanks again BuzzCat!

Mike
