Breach slide.
Evening all,
just got done groping my rifle and wile I had her undressed with her bits hanging out I decided to try fitting my aluminium breach slide, kindly donated by pablouk after he announced to the world that I am chav :lol:.

any who I fitted a couple times before but always had clearance issues so I put the bolt catch at the back instead of the front and it seems to work grate and also I have always wanted a breach/bolt that I could use like a bolt action rifle. and now I can. Now I know there’s alot of real smart people hear that know alot more than me so is there anything I should be aware of for doing this? also I haven’t found a place yet but does anyone know were I can find actual rifle bolts that may screw into the breach?

The breech bolt is OK but, I really like the alum frame stiffener that the gun has. Anyone else tried this and if so, did it help? YN, do you have any more pics of that gun?

Da Kodiak kid had a gun like that, I beleive drum/leupy made the parts.
Here is the one franz is refering to which is the similar to how Da kodiak kid had his with the 2 screws to stop it unscrewing when cocked like the twins are refering to.

I’m not smart enough to know how to move pictures around on this site, but if you go to the TAF Gallery the first Sticky is for the former TOG gallery. If you click through about half of the pictures you will see a AF gun with EXACTLY what you are looking for. There are pictures of the bolt by itself as well as several pictures of a kickass gun with the bolt installed. I don’t know anything else about it, but maybe some of the old timers here can help you out….

oh well. does any make cocking bolts like that but strait? would a crossman bolt fit it?
That won’t work mate. Each time you push it forward to cock, you gonna be wanting to unscrew it..
And it would be impossible to set the thread just right to have it screwed tight if you had it slung on the other side….
That ain’t gonna work, it’ll un-screw itself everytime you cock it. 😆
Better off cutting a slot up the side of the frame and having the knob stick out that way.

Had that second hole put there for the same reason you like it, it allowed easier cocking. I think its a bit sticky to cock sometimes because its Ali’ on Ali’ which causes galling.
A few guys on here can hook you up with a cocking knob of your liking I’m sure…..

yer Im just gunna go fit a grub screw in the first hole so I dont lose air presure. have you ever seen one of our guns with a rifle bolt in? and who hear does them?
