Newb w/ question comp. air vs. Co2?
Hello all!
I did a quick search but after many pages, have decided just to come out and ask.
I am contemplating getting an AF rifle minimal will be a Talon SS in .22 but hoping to get something in .25
Anyway, can I expect the same velocities out of Co2 vs. comp. air? is it true that Co2 will yield more shot’s than comp. air?
Doe’s run of the mill Paintball 20oz. Co2 tanks work or will I need one that has a different regulated operating pressure?
Any advice or info will greatly be appreciated.

You just use the AF Co2 Adapter to fit the paitball tank threads. Very uncomfortable for my liking and you will the tri-rail and high rings and I still think it may be tough to get a good sight picture.
I use the 12oz Co2 tank with adapter and CP .22 14.3gr pellets and right now getting about 660fps with the warmer weather.
Yes you gets lots of shots…. I’ve gone about 70 shots then went to the paintball store to refill and he tells me I still got about half a tank full still but for $3 a refill who cares.
Alright. Do you folks know if I can use a 45/3000 or 68/4500 paintball tank w/ a hose adapter?
co2 is much slower than hpa, yes a co2 bottle the same size will give more slower shots, and I think so but not 100% sure, the good news is someone that is will be by shortly.
I shoot an SS in my bedroom over the winter. Very effective on CO2. Haven’t killed anything yet.

950 fps
I use the regulator for more and very consistent shots.
Lots and lots of shots with CO2
The bad thing about CO2 is temperature it changes things a lot but the shot count makes it great for plinking in the back yard.[/u]
