How do you discharge the airtank?
Hello everyone, I just purchased a Condor but I’m going to CA by air in 2 days and I’m taking the Condor with me. First off, I’m not sure if the tank is full or not. So I want to discharge the tank just in case if there is air inside. Secondly, I need to take the “valve” (I’m not sure this is the correct term for the piece) so the airline officals can look inside to see that the tank is empty. How do I go about doing both of these things? Please help, thanks in advance.

hey savage, haven’t done a damn thing yet. Because I haven’t gotten back all the necessary parts for the condor to work yet. I should have looked up all the necessary laws concerning airguns before I tried bringing one in to Korea. With that said, a few mates of mine are going to Germany later in this month and they will take my confiscated items with them and attempt to mail them back to me….(don’t hate me)I’m hoping that most of the items will get delivered to me without problems. I have used some of my friends guns (samyang) for pest control on their farms but that’s about it. There is a huge market here for airguns for all sorts activities. I’ll let you know what happens with my parts come the 19th…….

Thanks for the advice…I did successfully discharge and unscrew the valve off the tank. I just received the condor yesterday and traveling tomorrow (Sat) so I don’t have time to FedEx it, but wish I did.
If you’ve got time, you might consider shipping the gun and tank to your destination by FedEx.
There’s all sorts of horror stories on the airgun boards about the TSA getting a wild hair up their rears when they see the gun and tank. Pellets as well, for that matter.
Of course, others have successfully dealt with the TSA with no problem, so it’s apparently a crap shoot as to whether or not you get hassled.
If you decide to take it with you, get to the airport a few hours ahead of time just in case.

To empty the tank put a dime or penny in the fill adapter and screw it onto the valve very slowly. Let it discharge over a few minutes time.
You can use a spanner wrench to remove the valve. Other guys have made their own tool for it.
