World firsts with Talon?
I’ve had mine both auto-cocking and firing like an MG.
With a tiny bore in the head it becomes like a projectile in it’s own right. If the cocking-knob is in-line with the slot the head shoots forward enough to throw the breech back into a cocked state. If the bolt is out of line with the slot the breech is thrown forward until the cocking-knob hits the frame and has enough force coming back on the spring to cycle another valve-opening. MG time. 😆
Finding a way to solidly lock-off the cocking-knob would be a major ball ache, given the variables involved with individual rifles, so it looks like the heads are going to have to be threaded into the stem so that they can’t be shot forward when the rifle is fired. No biggie, it’ll still be possible to swap them out in seconds.

I originally tried to get approval from my insurance company without the safety they told me point blank no safety no insurance just a suggestion so no one gets hurt.
I’m a darwinist. Anyone who can’t understand and maintain a 3000psi limit, let god sort them out. 😆
I would like to suggest something to you to keep the DOT off your back, I would integrate a burst disk into your design just like AF valves have.

I completely agree with you but the DOT has guidelines that have to be followed when it comes to high pressure tanks, the burst disk is mainly designed to burst when the pressure gets to high and that doesn’t always happen when you are just filling it but possibly sitting in your vehicle.
Another way to look at it all scuba tanks , paintball & AF tanks all have a burst disk, my insurance company wouldn’t even talk to me a bought insuring me without it, just something to think a bought try a Google search for scuba tank failures I think you will be amazed .
