Talon SS & C02
When using C02 in my stock Talon SS .177 with 12″ barrel, I have observed that after about 20 fairly quick shots in cooler temperatures (below 60 deg. F) the barrel and shroud tend to cool off which seems to effect the guns accuracy. I am using Beeman kodiaks and once the flyers start showing up, increasing the power level seems to help for a while.
When I shoot a little slower or shoot outdoors in hot weather – the cooling effect doesn’t show up.
Any thought appreciated.

More noticable with the talon SS. Exiting co2 gets trapped in the frame, bathing/cooling the barrel’s outside before exiting. Same would be true for any shrouded co2 rifle. Not really a problem, they just cool a bit faster….shoot slower.
