Q:

Storm and Condor airtank compatibility

Well the title explains it all…..are the two airtanks compatible? I know they are from two different companies but since their designs are so similar, I figured they might be.

I have the valve from the condor airtank which I took off for the flight. So if I buy an airtank meant for the storm and replace the valve with the one I took off my condor, it shouldn’t have any problems, right?

Correct the bottle it self I the same so you can just use your valve and you will be back up and running again 😀

I’m in Korea currently and brought my Condor with me. Customs confiscated my airtank, barrel, pellets and scope. Airforce is not available in Korea but Storms and Stealths are, that’s the reason for asking about compatibility issues. I will be able to retieve the confiscated parts once I get an “airgun” or “hunting” license (which I’m in the process of doing). Or return to the USA and take the said items back home with me. Obviously getting the license is the easier alternative, but it will take a few weeks. So I want to buy parts (.22 barrel, airtank)in the meantime so I wouldn’t be without….but waiting a few weeks might not be so bad if the replacement parts are going to cost a lot.

The FAC GunPower guns are exactly the same as the Airforce models apart from the name stamped on them. 12ft-lbs models are accentually the same gun just with out the power wheel.

The HiFlow bottles do require a good old kick to open them so would not work to well on a 12ft-lbs model. If its a pre anti tamper gun there not hard to alter but depending where you from there are often very strong laws against doing this.

If your from England its 5 years for having a none registered FAC weapon.

Thanks…so the Storms are not made in England?

as fare as I know the gunpowders and airforce are both made by airforce, the gunpowders are just the model for that side of the pond so it should screw right in but you may need a heavier hammer to get it shooting good

If I’m wrong about this someone please let me know 😉
