Syn,

You can get a non ABC AR-15 for a lot less than $1500. Rock River Arms make a nice AR and that comes to about $845

Everything minus lower receiver $655

http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=199

And the lower receiver $170

Add $20 for a Lancer magazine

I posted the prices locally and i’m in Wankerfornia.

I saw a M1A last week for $1600 and the walnut stock had chunks missing… I love the look of the M1a but after shooting it I was not impressed…

Tron: 😆 I wasn’t about to start in on that. I actually tossed around the idea of a $1500 FT air rifle but decided to get two powder burners for the same $$… Ammo is WAY more but reaching out to 200+ yards has more allure to me…

That EdGun is really sweet though! 😉

1500 Dollars 😯 😯 😯

What kinda powder burner could you guys over there get for that money?? 😕 😕

Its a sweet looking rig an’ all, but 1500 clams is crazy imho.

Now where can I get my hands on 1500 bucks….

$1500 will just get you in the door for a non AW variant of the AR15. Or a middle of the line target rifle in a sub .308 caliber.

If you want a Sako TRG expect to drop $2500, if you want a long range tack driver like the Blaser expect to drop close to $5000. No scope, no extras, not even any free ammo…

I think that paying $2,000+ for a powderburner is a lot different than paying $1500 for an Air Rifle.

Looks like somebody has made a mag for it. 😉

Yeah a mag would be icing on the cake for this gun, which would bring the price from $1500.00 😯 to…. 😯 😯 😯

I’ll post some numbers when I get settled in to the new house and unpack my chrony. For now, I can tell you that so far accuracy is as good as any gun I’ve shot. It is an excellent off hand shooter. The squirrel shot pictured was somewhere between shot 35 and 40. I’m still shooting off that fill because my CF tank is low. At about 29″, its shorter than an SS and shoulders about like my SS with a wokbutt, except the cheek weld is a bit iffy. The trigger is better than I hoped, but I’ll still try to shorten the 1st stage (hopefully without needing to learn to read Russian). The gun doesn’t appear to have a safety, and does not have adjustable power – both of which are fine with me.

Nice gun greg – Like saugus asked.. I’d be interested to know how YOUR gun preforms.

Very cool… can you tell us more when you have the chance… how’s the accuracy? Shot count, MV, ect. Would love to see some groups when you have the time.
