Talon valve VS. Condor
I know the Condor valve has a bigger opening(diameter) than the Talon. @ what point do the 2 release the same amount of air if the condor striker weight is removed? For example a Talon with TH @ .100, PW set to 6 & Condor minus striker weight with TH @ .07 PW set to low with equal starting fill pressures. I started thinking about this after reading this thread;

The colume on the right is a 24 inch talon at 2000 psi fill P.W.on one so a little higher psi will do what you want . I would think .Marvin

I’ve read & re-read all your posts. I’m debating on getting a 24″ .177 barrel for my stock Talon &/or a Condor valve. I think the post I cited has the Condor minus striker weight but with the Condor valve. I want to shoot the 16 gr @ 900-950 & I’m trying to figure out the best way to get there besides buying a whole new gun.
I can not answer the question you asked about being the same with the same fill rate . But if you go back to that forum you can do a search under condor and author melloroadman which is me and you will see were I posted reading with the stock condor , condor with talon tank , condor minus weight , and a 24 inch talon . I was trying to see what combo would work for me best . The fps and psi never matched . But by changeing psi I could match fps . But I never did high fills on any of the test . I do not like them and they are not needed in that caliber if you look at the results I posted . Even when useing a 16 grain pellet . Marvin

If you remove the striker weight, how does it fire? 😆

I’ll try a 2200 fill to try & get on the other side of the curve to start. Hopefully starting in the 930’s up to 950 & back down to 930. Those #’s are with a Talon w/ 24″ barrel?
