What do you suggest??
I’ve lurked around for awhile and have finally decided to invest in a Air force rifle.
My FIRST choice was the Talon SS,from the first time I saw it.After doing some reading up on it,and watching a few videos,my deal is about to be sealed.However,I am also a BIT interested in the Condore.
I will be buying a .22 cal regardless of which rifle I get BUT I was interested in the opinions of the members here.
I would like to know which one would give me the BEST bang for my buck when it comes to power.Like I said I’m leaning towards the Talon SS but if someone can lean me in the direction of the Condor then I’d give it a chance and do some more research.
The rifle will be used mainly for hunting med to semi-large prey(Turkey,etc..).
ANY advise will be GREATLY appreciated as my purchase will be within a week.

WELL……..I’m Happy to say today I brought a .22cal CONDOR with a shroud,and I’m SUPER HAPPY with it.
I just wanted to thank all you guys that responded for your input.

I started with the SS, great rifle. I liked how short it was, but wanted more power.
Then I bought a WOK butt. Then I bought a .25 Barrel. Then I bought a shroud and the condor tank / valve and Hammer. My SS was now a Condor.
Save yourself some money now and just buy a Condor. You will not regret it!
Alot of us here can reach out and touch targets past 100 yards with the condor. Not that you would want to be that far from your pray when you shoot. 😀
I have both, I shoot my condor 10 to one even in the basement where no real power is needed. Did I say that POWER is always needed hahahahahahahahahahah! 😈

Talon guy here –I am sure youll love either one you get —my vote is — .177 SS for the squirrel and bird add a .22 24″ barrel for the turkey… 😉
I’d agree Condor, even if mine is a stealth (with a 24inch barrel 8) )
It can get heavy if walking around with it all day long though 🙄
Buy the condor and get a GTBJ shroud. Becomes quiet and powerful always a winner.
I use a condor and hunt turkey’s with it. I would not want anything less than it’s power (for turkeys). I also bought and use a .25 cal barrel.
Towards the end of the spring season, I built an arrow mod for it. I did not get a chance to take a turkey with it though. Maybe this fall.

there is a nice .25 Condor on the forum for sale, if it is not gone yet, I have a notion to swoop on it.

sounds as if you need a Condor, I am a talon guy just cause I live in the city and need a compact, stealth killing machine.
