Thanks Bean…I have something in the works that should eleviate the problem for good

Jeff, I know your issue was different but just in case anyone is interested, I did call AF today. They will repair leaking the CO2 adapters.

Without seeing it they assume that the valve internals need to be replaced including the brass fitting but not the top hat or stem (I don’t think). She quoted me $35 (not including shipping) for the repair. Then offered to sell me the parts directly for the same price (plus shipping). Factoring in shipping that’s about half the price of a new one. Might be worth it. And in my case, a trip to the PO and total round trip shipping of $12ish is worth not attempting it myself. Just have to call and a Return Auth before sending if off.

I have another adapter on the way so I am not in a bind or
stuck with the lack of having a gun to shoot….I bent up the
hole in the valve collar so I doubt AF will do anything with it…
I am mostly looking for someone that can replace the spring
with something that will last longer….

Did you try Airforce? I’m not saying they are a better option, just wondering what the response was. I was thinking of contacting them on the one I have that leaks, just haven’t actually remembered to do it yet 🙁 .

If you are stuck, you can send it to me,
I’ll fix it for the pleasure of examining the adapter and the cost of the mailing 🙂 or a tin of Kodiaks……. in .22 of course

Walter….
