Hi folks
Been reading your forum for a while and all the cool stuff Ive seen tempted me into buying a gunpower shadow . Looking for mods I read about Blodnob and lucky for me Shaun only lives down the road 😆
Its now a Blodnob .25 beast with 24″ .25 lw barrel blodnob valve and shroud 8)
A few more mods in the pipe line . like an adjustable butt pad, longer fore stock and a tri rail to lift the scope .
Shot it today for the first time properly and apart from I couldn`t get the best out of the accuracy due to the low mounts it shot awesome . nearly as good as my rapid .25 😮 .
Did a couple of chrony strings but I`ll make a separate post for them .
Anyway looks like a fun no holds barred type of forum so I hope I fit in 😈

Specs are .22 , 7shot , 19″ barrel , homemade silencer , 25ftlb , accuracy tested at 50yrd gave well under 1″ groups .
Never done a full shot count as I get too bored before it runs out of air . Quite a heavy lump at 10.1lb with normal day scope but balances straight through the grip so rock steady for standing shots . In the pic its balanced unaided on the pistol grip .
Measures 31″ long as shown in the pic but goes down to 28″ with my 16″ barrel .

Well, I was looking into getting a CF Tank, and may be a Rapid, but I just found another AR that needs a home. 🙁 ———— 😀
Oh, and a 10-22 with a CF wrapped bbl. custom stock and trigger group! 😆

Thats a pretty sick piece of gear you have there… Nice job on the Mods. If I had 3k laying around I think I would try out one of the feinwerkbau pistols, they look pretty nice as well.
If I had all those cool guns to choose from I don`t think I would be in much of a rush to buy a rapid ether 😆

Not, but a Rapid is definitely on my to do list!
Problem is, here at to new place, all of the ranges are so far for pest. We just finished building the new range and bench. But We’re so far out in the country that there is no problem shooting the big powder burners. For the first time in 30 years, I can go out the front door and fire the 1911 .45, .41 mag, AR-15’s, 308’s or any of the .22’s at leisure. So the AG isn’t getting the attention it did in town. It was perfect where we use to live. Plenty of range, but noise was an issue once we were incorporated into the city limits.
Now We can make as much ker-bang as we want! 😀
That and the fact that the pest changed from ferrel cat’s and field rat’s to Wild pigs. yotel dogs, coons, and armadillo’s.

Might be adding another stealth to my collection though cos I like this one a lot 😀
Can`t wait to try some long range groups side by side against my .25 rapid . Both have 24″ LW barrels so I don`t think there will be much in it .
And your not wrong , Blodnob makes some excellent kit and I`m well impressed with what he made me 😀

Yep. A little hard to get centered in the scope with it so low. Scope to bbl. distance is the bain of our guns.
Once you have the scope a little higher, she will give the Rapid a strong run for the money. Especially at long range. These guns can be tuned to give outstanding long range performance.

Fairly sure the accuracy is just down to the bad fit on the gun . Ive only got low mounts on at the moment so I`m struggling to get my eye behind the scope and keep canting the gun .
Managed a couple of 20mm 5 shot groups @ 35yrd so I know the gun has the potential just need to make it fit me better .
Ive ordered a tri rail to raise the scope a bit and Shaun is going to make me a new butt pad so hopefully that will sort it .
