I finally see why the BKLs are so much better.
For one thing, the clamps spring inwards from BOTH sides at the same time so they don’t shift left or right as you tighten the screws…. Ingenious!!! (and yet so friggin simple…)

That and the precise machining. Hope the Airforce produced ones are as well produced.

Actually the Idea it to have the scope reticle in the center and them mounts as well. Then only adjust for POI as you shoot. You do not want to use up all your adjustment just gettting your shot on target and have non left over.

The company BKL was sold to Airforce and they are going back into production soon.

Excellent video. I have to confess, didn’t know what you were Clamping?

Sounded like a Mods/Machinist type thread to me.

Should go under optics/night vision, Scope Mounts problems.

I will be checking All my scope mounts alignment this way.
