AIRFORCE LS-1 LASER ADJUSTMENT
Am I doing something wrong? I have 2 lasers and both adjust spot on. Then I lock the locking screw and they go crazy. Sometimes I am off by and inch at 27 feet after locking the screw down. I can 15 shots in one hole until I go to lock the 3rd screw. HELP!!!

That’s a common problem with many devices that have a locking-screw. The usual solution is to try and anticipate how far the locking-screw throws the device out of alignment and try to align the device out of whack to start with such that doing up the locking-screw brings the device into final alignment. That’s a trial & error, hit & miss procedure, until you finally get it spot on. Needs patience because it can become very frustrating, unless you get lucky and get it right earlier rather than later.
The locking nut is pretty much guaranteed to throw it off. I’d put a dab of blue loctite on the screw to hold its position and forget about the locking screw. You can still adjust it later and the old loctite will hold its new position.

I tried the compensate before locking down approach about 6 times. I can get it close but not right. I bought this gun for tight accurate groups not oh well its close. LOL I will try the lock tight method and see what happens.
