Q:

Camer-fla-gee… that’s what I did today.

It’s not perfectly perfect, but it’s better than the beat up bastard I received. Filled all of the gouges, sanded, bedlinered and painted it. Looks and feels close to synthetic, but grippier.

CoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooL.

Which makes me wonder… how much is a s410 stock sold seperatly?

I got lucky when I found mine. Dave Dunn was selling a 410 and mentioned a stock that was replaced.

I asked, and bought a beech stock in perfect condition for $50. I then proceeded to glass-bed it and tape it up.

The walnut beauty is in the safe.

Anyone on the fence about bedlining a stock should go for it. Tough as nails, looks great, and if you drop a rifle coated in this stuff you should exercise more.

$10 for a 15oz can of Rustoleum brand at the auto store. You can probably get two or three stocks done on one can.

Nope – defintly worth the extra $100 they cost if you buy it with walnut.

Not ecxactly cheap are they. Obviously got a darn good deal on those two!

I would never paint a nice gun either… this is just a beating stick.[/quote]

I will trade you beating sticks.

I got those two together, used but in new condition for $265.

A Walnut from the US Air Arms distributor – Boris at TGAG is $350 I think…..

Painting my gun over is on my long list of shit to do!

That does really look good, and I’m not really into the whole camo thing myself. I can’t imagine putting tape or spray paint all over my AA410 for instance, but that’s just me.

But that really fits, good job!

Thats why u gotta buy a spare… or 2

I hear ya
