Q:

New Day/Night scope

I’ve been deciding back and forth on getting one of these for over a year and was about to buy one when I found out Yukon was releasing a digital Night Vision Scope which delayed me again- but that still hasn’t materialized and per the specs Yukon have released doesn’t have some features that this does.

I’m still working out the mount and will get something that will put it a bit lower but other than a dead pixel and some software issue’s that the maker is dealing with for me I’m pretty happy with it.

Got it for its night time capabilities – not disappointed. Needs an IR – got a 3w IR LED for my Surefire 6P on ebay for $20 and that works great out to around 50 yards. Might get an IR laser Illuminator for longer range if I need it.

As a bonus I can use it during the day – seems to work pretty well..

I managed to find these AVI files from an SD card that was laying around. The scope is alright for a 1st generation of new technology…

….Wormwood

This scope use any adapter can work in condor? where to buy?

Anonymity !

Give it up guys, everyone already knows who Y and YN are. 😉

Its all part of the anononymity (did I spell that right?) of the internet.

Wow, Y also has a purple one ….

quote RiffRaff:

Ok YN that is a neat device. Got me wondering why you gave me your old frame, it would have been perfect mounting height for that.

YN didn’t buy the Elcan. Y did. 😆

Would be way too low – right now its just a couple mm too high.

Stock AF bottle with a blodnob valve.

Ok YN that is a neat device. Got me wondering why you gave me your old frame, it would have been perfect mounting height for that.

BTW what bottle is mounted to that rifle? It appears to be fatter and squared off.

As far as I know its only made and sold under the Elcan name.

and is this the same scope re-branded by several other scope companies

fucking cool…..hows the battery life on it ?

The ballistic software doesn’t take decimals for weights so I have to round it to nearest number – I’ll see how much that affects the ballastics when I finally get the tables to load (one of the software problems I’m having). I saw a review on Airgun Advice and the scope worked with an airwolf but it doesn’t take a picture/video automatically with the Talon which I’m thinking is another software/product defect as I’m sure the impact of the hammer on the Talon is a lot greater than an Air Wolf.

Maw – get a more powerful illuminator and the picture will likely be better than this scopes.

That is very good night vision, my ATN does not illuminate the body quite as well, but close to that.

If they would include a built in range finder this thing would be awesome.

The ballistic software, can it handle airguns and pellets?
