new valve
i need a new valve for my condor so i finally got around to calling AF. I’ve heard a couple say that a new valve runs around $45. The quote i got for a new valve is 109.25 for a hi flo and 88.50 for the standard talon valve
whats up with that?[/code]

alright will do
thanks for your help GTBJ and mamcrackin
I think they would have to install it, but ask Rachel to make sure when you order the parts
oooh, i didnt know that. Im glad you brought that up
So if I buy the new hi flo and put it on my tank do you know if it would go under warranty again? or would i have to have them install it?
the valve in the co2 adaptors is the old condor valve, not the new and improved ones, which would get me to bet that would be the reason so many people are having problems with the adaptors 😉
alright ill try it
thank you!
so then I should just get the Co2 adapter and i could either leave it or slap it on the tank..
Not the best picture in the world but you get the idea….You might
invest in a spanner wrench to unscrew the collar that the valve
screws into…Mine was too tight to get apart with channel lock pliers….
I would also advise that you unscrew the spring retainer nut, wrap it
with about 20 -25 rounds of teflon plumbing tape so that it fits tight
when you screw it back in, and only screw it in about 3/4-7/8ths of
the way in to keep from putting too much tension on the valve spring….
If by chance you experience an air dump you would need to screw
the retainer nut in about one more round….

really? i thought it was the standard…
so then I should just get the Co2 adapter and i could either leave it or slap it on the tank..
one more quick question though
If i were to buy a new valve and put in on the tank, it go back under I assume?
The valve in the co2 adapter is a Condor high flow….
yeah thats what i figured i might just buy the Co2 adapter instead. I still have my paintball tanks laying around along with Co2 tanks
one more quick question though
If i were to buy a new valve and put in on the tank, it go back under I assume?
if it was tuned by tony, you are sol and will need to just buy the parts.
alright ill give her a call and see if she can help me
the previous owner had the valve worked on by tony
life time warranty, but I’m not sure about it being second hand, as long as it hasn’t been messed with I would say it worth a call to Rachel, be honest with her, let her know that you know there is a new valve out for it because the old ones sucked ass and that you can’t enjoy the gun because of it, she is a very nice/helpful woman and she will work with you.
i have the old valve still 🙁
how long does the warranty last? would it matter that i bought the gun second hand?
Thanks
That is what a hole assembly costs, if you want it cheeper you just get the internals and change them out in the retainer you have your self.
or if you still have the old pice of shit condor valve you can send them your tank and have the valve replaced under warranty.

FYI…I stuck my Talon valve on the co2 adapter today…I have it
screwed to a 2,000psi reg….It dropped my velocity by approx
100FPS but gave me a huge shot count….FPS now is avg 840…..
Still laser accurate and the Standard deviation is 5.4FPS…
Working great…
