didn’t he just get decommissioned in the islands, or is that still coming up?

Aloha Gents; I’ve been a bit busy of late. I threw a huge bash for my retirement from the military the last week of May. I catered it myself. My yacht went into rework in the ship yards…twice. It came out of the yards in the middle of June. I’ve been working on that thing in her new home on Mission Bay. I’m 20 grand lighter from those two trips to the yards. The boat runs like a top again though.
My wife needs lots of care as she has been recovering from her horrible car accident. She has a nice new Jaguar convertible race car. I went back east for family reunions and birthday parties. I had to spend a lot of time with Navy medical personel so I could retire. I was asked by my headquarters in Virginia to set up briefings and tours of Navy ships in San Diego for the head of the Ukranian Navy and his staff….this after my retirement ceremony. Gee, WTF else has been going on in my life. It’s been a bit hectic to say the least.
Next month it’s off to Alaska to fish. The fall will be filled with hunting trips to Arizona, Wyoming and North Dakota. I need to fit in a trip to buy land on the Big Island of Hawaii and build a house. I don’t know when I’m going to find time to sleep since I retired from the Navy. AKULA
