One thing you will hear is to get a new henge pin for the pump arm. It is a must! you will be taking it out quite a bit to get the flat top piston adjusted. And trying to do that with the stock roll pin sucks. “O” and the new henge pin requires that you drill out the existing hole a little bit. Don’t forget to deburr the inside of the tube that the pump arm goes into to get rid of the burrs. It will shred the piston O-rings. Don’t ask how I know that. 🙄

Very good point… get a new pivot arm pin with bitch clips on it….

… and by the way. To change to .22…. simply need the steel breech, .22 bolt, and 2250 or 2260 barrel. Easy as that.

I’m fairly short on aftermarket parts, but stock parts, I have some….

Here is what you’ll need to get started…

Steel breech. Get one from Crosman for $30
.22 bolt…. Just get the .22 breech and you’re set there.

2250 barrel…. $8 or so from Crosman

1389 Barrel band from Crosman… about $3

Flat top piston $25 from http://www.mountainaircustomairguns.com
Flat face modded valve…. $25 from http://www.mountainaircustomairguns.com

a very short section of icemaker tubing.

That will get you set…..

If you dont want to get the FF piston and valve, you can simply mod the 1377 valve yourself…. lighter valve spring, reshape the valve stem, cut some threads on the valve for more volume…. port and angle….

But… cart before horse. You NEED an aftermarket breech. The Crosman plastic breech is like tits on a boar hog.

thats what i want power
i am keepin it 177 for a while i think
dont know how to change it to 22
got any spare parts u lookin to unload rob?
barrels valves breeches pistons?
i get paid thursday and will have a few bucks to spare

some more popular mods include….

longer barrel
steel breech
flat top piston
flat face valve
adjustable piston
valve porting
increased volume, lower pressure
decreased volume, higher pressure
poly transfer port

I’ve got 6 or 7 13xx’s that I’ve modded to various states.

In .22, expect around 550fps with 12 pumps using 14.3gr pellets and a 14 inch barrel. May get a bit more, maybe a bit less, but that seems to be about par for the guns that work on.

If you are willing to pump a bit more, you can reach close to 700fps with 18 pumps and a 24 inch barrel with 14.3’s…..

PoWer!!!!!!!!!

I got that one from saw that you passed on, the first thing I’m doing is moding the hell out of the valve, transfer ports, hammer spring, steel breach, and a .22 14.6 incher, and of corse I’ll build a black thing that covers the barrel 😉

here is a good form for them
