That sounds like a plan. If you have a chrony make sure you get some numbers. I expect the gun will like the slugs but it might like them even better at higher power.
Yes I do Jerry. It is a lightly Moded Condor Valve with the Condor weight. I was thinking of having a heavier hammer made for the slugs if the gun likes them. Thought I would use them for a little pig hunting! 😀
I am looking forward to giving a report on the accuracy and fpe of several of his weights in the 21″ barrel. that Walt in Haw. is sending me.
Should be a real eye opener for me! 😀
I think you have gen 2 slugs. The current version is gen 3 but your results should be pretty close to what anyone can get. Just be sure to set the gun to “kill” not “stun.” A 21″ barrel should be enough but don’t expect to set-up the gun for light pellets and just swap into slugs and get the best performance. You will want to run the power settings up to get the heavy slugs as fast as you can. Dialing back to avoid wasting air once you’ve reached max velocity makes sense. I can’t recall, do you have a modified valve and heavy hammer?
Why yes, yes I do! 😆 😆
I certainly wish Chris could make enough of the .25 slugs to fill the demand and provide for everyday shooting but sadly the garage production facilities are inadequate. The level of hand work just drives the volume down and the cost up too. But if you have a jones to smash something with a big chunk of lead…
The guy can’t pronounce Eley properly either hehe. It’s pronounced “Eelii”
Jerry manufactures specialty pellets, really bullets for hunting larger than normal game with the .25’s. Not what you would really want to use for punching paper for pleasure. 😯

Doesn’t Jerry sell .25 cal pellets (sledgehammers)? 😉
pab-
some how we need to pull all the 25 guys together and get an order together.
And you could be the connection, and you make some S/H fees, I have no prob. with that.
Maybe the .25 guys could chime in if intrested, so we can get an idea of what we are talking about.
And Pab you need to make some $ for your trouble for sure.
With the guy off the yellow I paid like 12.00 a tin shipped.
What ever, lets do it.
I guess it is all about shipping cost, how much ?
I am sure it would be worth your time Pab.
Shoot me a p/m and lets get this figured out 😆

As I’ve said before Saw’ I can get .25 Kodiaks here for £4 per tin when I bulk buy. Offer still stands for anyone who wants me to get some for them. Just take into consideration the shipping(I’m in UK)
Ya Ed, I bought 20 tins of .25 H/N Barracudas, same thing as kodiaks,
from a guy over on the yellow forum like 3 mos. ago and have yet recieved them.
He is staying in touch, guess there was a prob. with customs.
Luckily I have a few tins of .25 kodiaks left.
I am sure the supplies will get back to norm.
I tell what, looking at a .22 next to a .25 there is alot more lead there 😈
If ya get the chance to get a .25 barrel go for it, you can always go back to .22 if ya can’t get ammo.
The easy barrel change with the AF guns makes them good guns.

sorry to jump on ya as such, just get your facts straight before ya post, specially about DH.
He really is a nice guy, and I did not mean to get ya frecked out.
This place rocks, alot. Good folks here, at times can be a bit harsh.
Just go with the flow, and have fun.
Again, sorry to post as I did, however ya did label our DH as, well ummmgh, not who he is.
And as far as Dirt e Harry, who ever he is does some very intuitive vids. very good vids.., although kind of strange chap.
More power to him, whoever he is.

Saw, he didn’t state a fact that it was The Dirty Harry from the TAG. He asked a question, thinking it fit. Jump up off the man’s back a bit. We don’t know him.
Edward,
It’s generally said that sizing down by as much as .003″ is ok. Any more and you’ll deform the bullet or not get uniform sizing. It may be difficult finding a sizer of the proper diameter for your airgun barrel. I believe rimfire bullets run .224″ which is too large for the standard LW barrels. My guess is that you’d want .220″ or .221″. I don’t have a .22 LW barrel to slug.
What do you think about Dirt E. Harry’s range? What stops the pellet once it leaves the board 😯 His shed?
