Q:

I need a barrel band for a BSA Sportsman HV

Would anyone be willing discuss making one for me?

Not yet Walt….I have an FX Cyclone coming in today though and it
is going to be competing for the HV’s spot on the wall…..If it does
well the HV will go up for sale so I might not need one after all…..

You don’t have to do that Blod…It would cost more than the part is
worth just to ship it…You’re a true gent for offering and it is much appreciated…

Whats the OD’s of the air tube and barrel ?
And distance between centres ?
Also what do you want it made from ? Ally or steel ?

CNC/Rotary Table Mill or a sander and jig.

You wouldn’t be able to do that on a Lathe unless you increase the outer radius’s so you tool doesn’t keep hitting the peice when you don’t want it too.
