hammers
i was wondering if you guys know where i could get some round stock to exparment with hammer weights. i would like to get steel that is about the same size as the original hammer so i can use the spacers. i checked mcmaster carr and the size of half inch sec 80 seamless pipe but no matches i was just wondering if you guy had any ideas. ps i do not have a lathe but i want one. shouldn’t every condor come with a lethe, crony and an air compressor? 😀

You can get bronze bushings from the hardware store that will work
with no modification….They are about $4.00 each….
Years back a Talon experimenter/tuner Denskin used deep socket to get a nice hammer. I kind of like that idea in that it is smooth and hard on the outside so less drag from the sear.
Check that out if you like. IIRC 13/16″ approx. you will have to take a caliper along to check the sizes.
