Glance at his Status webpage every now and then and he’ll inform you of his intentions.

This time it said something to the sort of it would open before the end of July and that it would be late in the evening, but early enough that it’s not late for the East coast. At that point you know to start checking the page every few minutes. Someone often posts here and on the Yellow that the list has opened. It doesn’t stay open long… < 2hrs.

No doubt. I like the vibe that Dennis puts off. You know he’s an old fashioned down to earth kind of guy.

As you mention serial numbers, I have a question regarding Dennis’ numbering scheme…

My .458 is number 86x. Would that be 86x of the Outlaw series, to include:

Brigand .375 CO2
Brigand .375 Pre-charge
Rogue .44
Knave .25
Bandit .50
Exile .308
and
LA Outlaw .458

His website has stated for a couple of lists now… that of the Outlaw series, over 900 have been made.

So which model/s are not included in the 1-1000* numbering system and how are they numbered…

I like the current collectability factor of any of the DAQs. They’re somewhat rare, high quality ‘handmade’ rifles. You know that if you have to sell you’re always going to be able to get your return on it regardless. Not that I ever will sell, unless I absolutley HAVE to. I feel like owning one is a privilege and even a feat. I’ve been fortunate to make the list twice in a roll now. Some guys have been trying for years.

Most of all, an uber powerful big bore airgun is cool shit… and I like cool shit!

Says it all!

Only thing I can add is that support from Dennis is top notch. I have a serial number 56… very early Bandit, that he upgraded to current specs when the previous owner had it. I bought it used and after a year or so, it ended up needing a check valve. One call to Dennis and he asked me to send in the old part… and he shipped out a new intake valve…

I’m hoping to take delivery of a DAQ .25 pistol at Roanoke though….

I thought you already had one of them that you picked up on the yellow…

No… I’ve got several 22xx PCP’s that I’ve had built or built myself, but no DAQ.

I’m thinking I can detune it to shoot #3 buck around 20-30fpe… should be a nice plinker.

Now watch him not have any this year!!

I was calling before the notification was posted here. I’ll owe you a beer anyway! :18

The list was open for less than 2 hours. It began at 7:53PM CST.

I don’t see how it goes on that long even… he’s taking 50 names. Each phone call takes about 1 minute. The phone line is CONSTANTLY busy or overloaded and giving errors. I began calling about 15 seconds after the webpage status changed and it was already busy. Called approximately 200 times in 1 hour and finally got through. Thought me phones musta been broken or that the phone numbers were screened.

So you got through? Cool! You owe me a beer!

Don’t need a .457!? They’re the highest energy monsters he got! 🙂

My DAQ 50 puts out over 350fpe…. plenty enough for whatever I need to do with it 8) Stock, they put out around 250 or so fpe.

No use for me to try to get on this time. I have at least two other airguns that I’m obligated to pay off before I can commit to the DAQ.

That list has got to be closed-up by now, anyways.
