New member with a couple questions???
First off hello everyone!!!
I am a new member and gun nut but I am new to the PCP rifles, after seeing American Airgunner episode on Airforce airguns I had have a Condor, and Ill say I am very pleased with my purchase.
What I have is the CO2 version in .22cal and was wondering from what I have read on here –Do I need to put some kind of lube in the Co2 adapter or on the o-rings of the Co2 tank??? and if so where to find it and some name brands please.. It would have been nice if airforce included this info with the adapter.
Also I will be purchasing a HPA tank and hand pump I need suggestions for the hand pump I saw the sticky note to stay away from the airforce pump. I would go with the scuba tank but there are no dive shops close to get the tank filled..
Also i picked up some FP-10 and was wondering if this needed to lube the pellets for use with the Co2 or just with HPA…
I am also open to suggestions on where to find a quality .25cal barrel since I purchased the .22 with intentions on upgrading to the .25

Thanks for all the input I will check out those options and see what is available in my area.
I use Divers Silicon for the “o” rings, and fp-10 on the pellets.

Yep I can see that happening it always seems like there is always at least one guy who sees something like that just mind your own buisness! and in your case knowing what you were doing what’s the big deal if I seen that happening I would say great! shoot allot and have a ball!! Eddie
I used to work for a city and would fill my tanks during the night shift (Yes I have been trained). One of the firefighters saw me and had a cow. Then came the memos about “liability.” I had to laugh because I had filled more tanks in one weekend than he will ever fill in his lifetime.
Oh well, I still have the adapter to do this, I just need to find a new firehouse…
I agree with fishin Rod I am in the process of having a friend of mine check on it he told me he talked with them and said it should be no problem there is a form on the forum you can fill out so they are not liable for any rockets if you happen to drop yours and knock the top off just kiding! Also I have a paint ball club I just went to this weekend close by me and they filled my tank for me so you might do a search for paintball shooters in your area they use HPA also hope this helps Eddie
welcome to the forum! If you do not have any dive shops around to fill a scuba tank, you can ask your local fire dept if they will fill it.

Well first off congrats and welcome…..Silicon spray from Wal-mart
and divers/plumbers silicon grease should be all you need for the
orings and adapter…Grease on the orings and spray on the adapter..
Just let the liquid dry before putting the adapter back on…
Lubing pellets is an individual preference due to the fact that it is
really hard to measure it’s effectiveness….I am not sure about using
lube with co2….The Condor HPA tank will give you a lot of power and
a good shot count…The Talon HPA tank will give you less power than
the Condor but, a higher shot count…My opinion on pumps would be
a Hill pump with moisture trap..If you have the funds, I have
a connection with a guy that sells HPA compressors at a
reasonable price…$2,000.00 range…I don’t have any
.25cal experience….
This may not apply to Co2, but for HPA stay away from flammable liquids. Most suggest divers silicone. Oh and Welcome.
Welcome, i’m sure there is a special oil to lubricate with but I have used Rem oil with no problems, the couple of times I didnt use it I cut my o-ring seal and lost all of my co2.

My fire dept said they would fill my tank, but..i’m going to have to come up with an adapter..their’s is set up to fill scba not scuba 😥
