SIGHTIN THE SCOPE ?
I see them videos alot where the shooter dude is using one of them there padded V cushions…..those are around in the gun stores with about twenty other types of gun vises….which is better cause Iam shakier than shit.

After you have your gun on a proper rest, fire one round. Place the cross hair exactly back to the point of aim. Now, without moving the rifle even a little bit, adjust the cross hair to the point where it intersects the pellet hole. Fire another round for effect. If you didn’t move the rifle. You are now sighted. 😀
Saves a lot of time and pellets chasing the bulls eye with the cross hair. 😉

Works best to use a VERY sturdy bench and vise that will not move for this method. Most of us probably don’t have… 😆

I saw Steven Archer do that on u-tube…..yup,instead of calibrating where you are going,ya calibrate where you have been.

You can even use big ziplock bags filled with dirt !
Crap plastic bags with dirt will work. Make sure there is zero chance of getting
the dirt on the rifle !!!!! (Even with the fancy bags !)
Heavier dirt is better 😆 But then you have to double bag it !!
I would try a couple of front and rear bags.Either shooting bags or some prefilled sandbags from like lowes.
Just rest the forearm over a bean bag or something soft. An experienced shooter will shoot better than a rifle clamped into a vise.
