Q:

Talon SS, has trouble cocking

Bought the gun used, it has a trigger mod of some sort done to it. 😕 I am having trouble cocking this gun. Sometimes it catches first time, sometimes I have to push it several times. Sometimes I have to push it all the way up, and then mess with the knob from side to side. What so you think could be causing this? What should I check?
This is my first post since buying the SS.
Thanks

Be careful and give the sear spring 6 a little stretch and move it forward one station under the sear.

This will help the sear engage better.

You can find dissembly picts in the QUICK REFERENCE section.

My first thought is that it needs a good cleaning ,Iam new here as well ,most of the issues I read about are cleaning and lube related,it looks as though the Talons like to be very clean and lubed. The pros live here,Iam certainly not one ofum….yet.. 🙂 you will get your answer as to what to do.
