Q:

A design change for the Wokbutt

I’ve just finished up a few strap version for some very patient people.

These work great for CO2 tank and make a very secure attachment for the HPA tank as well. It has a more streamline look

The new “Woktank Disc” makes for secure connection for the shoulder piece

This is what I have been doing with my weekends.

Yeah, that 3M window weld is some strong stuff! If you don’t think so, try to remove an automotive windshield…you’ll be a believer in no time!

Damn good job Wok. The new disc design is the best yet in my opinion. Correct – all you have to do is JB weld that to the bottom of the bottle and you’re done. Rock solid.

I plan to use 3M 5200 quick set on my Woktank disc.

Use 4200 if you plan to remove it.

It’s the same type of stuff used to glue in windshields, only tuffer !

Looks good walk but they always do, I have a question imagine that! I have a stock condor and have a walkbut do you or any of the guys take off the original material that comes on a stock tank especially on the back of the tank to mount your butplate or your aluminum round stock to seems it would be allot sturdier! Also I see replacement material for the tank any suggestions thanks Eddie

quote get the blue jay:

WoK you should mount them with two holes on that disk, one up high and the standard one in the center 😉

with all the adjustability of them it would work out perfect I tell yee…..

People can do what ever they want with it. But the more drilling, tapping and insert buying drives the price up.

How do you secure the “Woktank disk” to the bottle ? I like that much better than the crappy plastic disk that’s on the factory tank.

That is your choice. You can sandwhich it in between like the stock disc or you can sand off the powdercoat on your tanks butt and then JB weld it to the butt of the tank it will be rock solid.

I turn those discs down myself and insert a threaded insert.

Once people realize just how important this disc is I expect to be busy making them.

I sure like the strap version. Are you starting a new list?
