TICKED OFF !
I just received the Ben Disco I ordered…..mounted Mr SCOPE…attempted to charge….pumped…pumped and pumped….the pressure guage never moved.Then I got down on the floor with the piece and stroked it one time and I heard……….sisssssssssss ! F@%^K ! it sounds like it is coming near the guage on the gun or near the breach area !
Iam not taking it apart or anything…..Iam sending the crap back…dont they even test this stuff.
Iam thinking about ordering the Dragonslayer…..with my SS with the added 22 barrel & shrowd thanx to Tony ,I think the Dragon might complete the puzzle…thinking of a nightscope for the dragon…..the raccoons wont like that at all…..sound like a good move ?

and as YN says….be carefull with CO2, filling rifles meant for air….CO2 can make the seals swell…the one around the valvestem in a lot of rifles can swell and make the valvestem sticky and rifle unreliable

Yep, the Air Arms manual says below 50 bar, the tank will dump. Total bitch to get started filling even with my Nitro setup.

I had lent my scuba to cygnusx so I rigged up a paintball CO2 tank to give it a charge of 800psi so I could pump it the rest of the way (and then bust my ass shooting and re pumping to get as much CO2 out of it as I could incase the seals swelled).
Well ,this came with the pump…I can appreciate what yur saying…If I put a scuba in front of this.it would blow out like crazy……I think sumone screwed up in assembly.
My AA wouldnt pump either – I called Pyramid and they said… oh you should have said that you were going to use a pump, we would have shipped it with some air. Apparantly it needs about 500 psi before theres enough pressure inside tank to close the fill valve.

Huuh? 😯 When i pumped up my AA S410 for the first time yesterday, i had no air coming out of the barrel. And the gun was not cocked.
That’s probably because the gun ships with enough air pressure so it doesn’t leak. You would probably have to cock it to fill if the air cylinder was totally empty, or it would leak.
Cocked or not cocked it leaks from the breech area…cant pinpoint it ,dont want to soap the whole piece…I wont fix it any way..the story is ,this piece was never quality controlled or the dam thing wouldnt have left the dock.
I tried to keep a man working in this country, and sum body needs to get canned over this….its B/S
I will return it tomorrow and move on I guess….dont want it replaced….bad taste on the tongue.

Post this on the Yellow Forum in the Crosman/Benjamin PCP section. perhaps it is a minor fix you can do to save trouble, postage costs.
Good Question…..but yes my friend….it is closed…can hear the air coming out of the gun.
Is the bleed screw closed.
Ya know that figures,the only luck I have is usually bad….I live in a screwed up state..they dont want you to have toys in your closet….so I have to play games and by other means get things done…which also is not cost effective !
They could not have tested this piece….unless their directions are strictly in the toilet…..Iam going to try what you guys are suggesting right now !
Nope , no dice……sum body should be fired…plain & simple .
Gotta cock the DAQs and even Sheridans before pumping ’em too or the air comes out the barrel. Hope you didn’t get a lemon, seems to be happening more often.
The instructions sure say uncocked and safety on……but I will try it for the hell of it…..thanks !
