I have a firedept that can fill to 4500, should I just get a 60min high pressure SCBA instead??

The af adapter screws onto the scuba tank fitting in three seconds. There are no hoses for air loss the af tank screws right in to the adapter. Unless I am not understanding your question the af adapter is all you need and installs in seconds. The adapter has to be screwed together because it comes in 2 pieces from AF the entire process reading directions and all took about 2 minutes.

No problem. Note that if you don’t have an AF adapter already you will buy one and it should be 1/4″ threads. The 1/8″ threads are used for the pump. Just be sure to get a matching thread male foster for whichever.

I think he also has the AF adapters. Call and check I would.

OK found some SCBA tanks where to get the fittings I will need to fill my condor tank?? I want to get it right the first time I order..

Joe Brancato can get you set up with any fittings you need. Give him a call.

You’ll need his hose assembly. If you opt for quick connect you will also need a male quick connect/foster nipple to thread to your AF adapter which would probably be 1/8″ BSP.

That scuba in the link will give you a couple more fills – as in like 5. But you should decide for yourself if the weight is going to be what you want. The 80CF carbon fiber is much lighter and smaller. If you can pick up a used tank you can get the fittings and still come out about the same price as that new scuba. Tank life is another thing to consider, you may not get as much out of the CF tank. I’d probably go straight to the SCBA.
