Shipping airgun parts out of the country.
I’ve already spoken to one member who said he didn’t have a problem but I’d like to hear some others experiences as well. Has anyone ever run into any problems with customs exporting airgun parts? I’m trying to get a barrel for a friend in Brazil and Woody @ Lothar is telling me I need an export license that costs $360… I don’t know if he’s thinking just for firearms or if it’s really an issue but I don’t want to end up with a massive fine or have the barrel confiscated, etc.
Thanks guys.

In Brazil we have very restrictive laws and regulations about “ANY” kind of gun. Unfortunatelly for us, United Nation policies for disarming the people (only honest citizens – of course) and Left Wing corrupt government in the last 25 years took us to a very beurocratic – China style status quo. You guys probably don’t know that we have 50K deaths by assassination a year (yep), no mistake, because the citizens are unprotected and large organized crime organizations (we’re a large country after all) are the only armed “civilian”groups. Police are submited to unreal rules of engagement and they don’t even train to shot an kill bad guys. All that said we also have to pay very expensive taxes on any import and a Condor usually will cost us some U$ 2,000 plus – no kidding!
And its plain – no acessories included.
Just to let you know where you could end up with those Left Wingers that are growing in power within USA.
Thats SAD and I’m sorry to say
Thanks for let me take that out off my chest…
