Valve removal tool
Well I have a metal guy at work, does alot of bronze railings and what not,
great guy, we dubbed him the bronze nazi 😯
You see the houses I work on are at the beach and the salt air reeks havok on any kind of metal cept bronze.
So to make a long story short, he just got a , well, don’t know what ya call it, but you put in a digital mechanical drawing and it’s a plasma cutter that cuts the shit out fairly nice to boot.
So my idea was to design a 1/4″ thick piece o steel wrench designed just for removal and install of the Airforce valve.
I have a sketch of it, probably cost a small fortune 😥 😥 😥 😥
Any way my metal nazi suggested a spanner wrench and to the internet I did a google search and found this.
Ordered one up, the specs seem like it’ll work just fine 8) 8)
Have any of you guys tried this ?
I know the valve removal can be a bit of a bitch, and most of ya know if there is a tool out there SAW doesn’t have,. well gotta have one 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛

You can take a piece of tubing
Fit it over the valve
Drill a hole to match the valve body hole
Insert a bolt
Use a plumbers wrench and easily twist off the valve while it is wrapped in magazine locked in a vise.
The cost is free or a couple of bucks and works perfectly.

Saw, it’s called a pin wrench. The movable head isn’t necessary, you can actually just find a 3/8″ or 1/2″ bar or square and bend it round a mandrell after heating up, then drill/install a pin on the end. If you want to wait, I was going to make one out of a cement forming stake. I have about a hundred stakes left over from my cement pour and nothing to use them on, so no big deal.

I must be smarter than the last time I picked up the wrench set . I just tried the largest handle and pin which is a light tap fit into the hole and it appears that it will work fine . Marvin

I bought their 8 piece set that goes from 3/4 to 4- 3/4 and it has nothing that will work . Part number 97006 pittsburgh professional . Also if this one works or some one knows were I can get one I would aprciate it . I have 4 talon tanks to change to condor .Marvin
I used one real similar I got it at harbor freight.
Looks like the one I used Saw…Should work fine…
