.25 Ouch!
Talked to PA today about .25 Kodiaks. I was told, 10.71 a tin, no fourth tin free, no free shipping. If and when they get them in. They didn’t seem very confident about the sept 1 in stock date. 😥

I mean the .25 version but I doubt it is anything different in .22. But I can’t be shure on that one!

Good question. Especially seeing that Pyramyd had Baracuda Match pellets on special a couple of years ago. And cheaper than the Kodiak and Kodiak Match. Yes, Baracuda Match.
Looks like some info is missing! If H-N doesn’t sell a Match Pellet in Barakuda, why do I have .22 Match H-N Baracuda tins here in the office? 😕
They are marked Baracuda not Kodiak. They come in a gold labeled Tin.
I e-mailed H-N a few months ago, and they responded about the Baracuda and Baracuda match “Both”. Seems like we got completely different responses.

For everyone willing to put the extra money down for the match pellets here’s something to consider! The kodiak match pellets are a myth. Kodiaks are baracuda pellets made by H&N.
I’ve been in contact with H&N about the variances in their .25 pellets. They have 3 or 4 dye sets from which they run production. The pellets from each dye are mixed. They don’t plan on altering that. Nor do they sell pellets from only one dye. So makes you figure how beeman gets their hands on match pellets. Do they have a shitload of cheap labour employees sorting weiging sizing and measuring pellets or is it just a scam to get the few extra bucks.

The poly barrel seemed to like the bigger stuff. Unfortunately I need a barrel that can shoot easily avalible pellets as well(H&N Barracudas/Kodiaks)
The BSA .25 barrel should do that. .251 sounds right.
Pablouk will be properly compensated for his attempt at advertisement with the award tempered only by a conclusion of effectiveness derived at by….me. 😆 😆 😆
Thanks Pab. Take your time and see what you want. I was happy to hear that another customer got great results shooting .252 from a poly barrel. I’d just about given up on poly barrels but apparently it was a size issue…
Recently, I’ve had lots of feedback regarding excellent accuracy and one post regarding poor accuracy with one particular size slug. I PM’d the fellow with the poor results but he has not replied for the last couple weeks. I hope we didn’t send a poor batch. (We’ll double check yours seeing you are so far away…! 😆 )
The reason I am prepared to pay that kind of shipping cost ( the slugs themselves are good value) is because they are f*^kin’ good slugs.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If you own a .25 barrel, do yourself a favour and try a Surefire Slug. Extensive testing on my part has shown it to fly true out to at least 85 yards ( max I’ve tested them to) Examination of the slug at that distance showed a good nose on impact and also retaining impressive FPE.

Well Pab, the only thing that can help is volume! Actually, I’m accutely aware of the cost of the slugs and especially, international shipping. It would suck royal (no pun intended) to get the wrong size. On the bright side, Chris’ prices are about half of other custom slug makers…
When I have to import hand made lead slugs from across the Atlantic and then watch 3o pence(48 cents) fly down range each shot, I like to know for sure what the required size is….. 😉 😆
I thought Lang did that and came up with .251, don’t you trust him? 😉

The chap is talking about .25 match-pellets, not .22. Not sure if that makes any difference. I have a tin of .22 Barracudas, haven’t seen any match-grade.25s on offer in the UK.
