just finishing my talon shroud
i have nearly eight inches of expansion chamber in front of the ‘baffle’ i installed on the end of the barrel. (the baffle is drilled so there is nearly 13 inches of chamber)
i used t6061 tubing and solid billet for the bushings i machined.
it works really well…all i hear is the hammer strike…

curious how you hold your shroud in, looks like two bolts on shroud?
It would be nice. A DIY shroud is very interesting and if you can share your findings with us go ahead and post those pics
since this was taken, i’ve ‘finished’ the shroud using brownells gun-kote in flat black…
just a plain ole talon but it shoots very well…
there are many ‘build-alongs’ but…if anyone is interested, i’ll show how i made the bushings…
