Q:

new guy with a question????

just recieved my condor and have been tinkering with it on CO2, its a blast, but I was curious if anyone has any kinda ideas of what settings will produce what velocities with a cross man premier pellet and the tank at 3000psi???

thanks

test)

Too many variables to even ballpark.

Caliber, barrel length, tophat setting, temperature, etc.

With the “standard” 24″ .22 I’ll guess around 1100 min & 1300 max if you have the new valve and it’s actually opening with the wheel turned down.

If you hear the crack you know you’re going around 1050+ and as Mamcrackin already said you probably won’t be able to get the Crosmans to shoot slow enough to be accurate with 3k psi.

I understand the top velocity, and I’m working on some heavier pellets too, but what I was looking for was that if anyone had rough numbers for velocities at various settings for the dial on teh side of the gun

Ooooooooh…Nope..Sorry..Maybe someone will have something for ya
later on..

Well congrats..Glad you’re enjoying it….In my opinion, crossman
doesn’t make a pellet heavy enough for a Condor with a
tank @3,000psi..The PW would have to be set around 10-12 to get
the valve to open..Do not try doing that in the house or in the backyard
if your neighbors are not friendly……But, it should be shooting a
CP somewhere in the nieghborhood of 1,300FPS could be a
little more….That would be one loud crack when that thing went off…
