How do you change a Talon valve into a Condor valve?
I have the parts and the old dong valve that is worthless.
I wound up getting a set of new parts for a condor valve, but do not know how the Talon valve disassembles.
I have removed everything from it, except the piece on top that looks like it screws in on the Condor valve and has 2 cut outs for what looks like you would use a pair of ring removers, however, the Talon valve does not have the cut outs, so not sure how to remove it

Not sure exactly what you are looking at, can you take pictures?
But here’s a quick breakdown of the breakdown. 🙂
First, empty the bottle and take the valve off the bottle. Now, if you look at it with the tophat pointed up, look at the bottom and you’ll see a nut looking thing. It’s just screwed in, so get something and unscrew it, it will pull out and there is a spring in there that should also come out. Then, to get the tophat off, take a flathead screwdriver, and put it between the tophat and the valve body. Gently twist it and the tophat and stem should come out of the top, and a derlin piece should fall out of the bottom.
I think that’s it.
