The GSMG fully automatic .22 cal lead ball firing gun
http://www.fullyautomaticairgun.com/newsletter090822.html
This gun should be out soon and cost around $600. Originally it was going to fire pellets or lead balls, be select fire, and shoot around 600-700fps. Now its .22 only, full auto only, lead ball only. Hopefully after on the market it will be improved to hoe they originally wanted it. If anyone knows anymore about this gun plese let me know.
thanks

Sigh
about what I have learned to expect from the protected Dano crowd
What ever
You guys have Fun in your circle jerk 😉
me?
I’m a non participant
after all wouldn’t want to see WOK all anal and sensitive yet again 😆
There are plans on this site for making a Home Depot machine BB gun for about $90 or so. They also make golfball, soupcan, and coffee can launchers.
Can you cast round balls the same diameter of the paint balls and rat atat tat elk? 😆
Assman:
Well increasing power in these things is iffy in my opinion
while parts are available, it’s really not very robust in execution
still…all controls are identical to a Class III M4
I do think using “shells” is the future of modernized Big Bore Agunning
the amount of work?
Shit you own an AF rifle right?
this is just screwing a 1200 reg into a HPA bottle, least that’s what I did
doing a barrel is easy
you will need to make up bushings to mount it inside the 11mm bore barrel
I hand polished a chamfer at the breech, accuracy at round 30 yards running a 3 shot burst is under an inch
good enough for me so far
Riverside,
Looks nice. How much work is it converting to HPA and putting in the new barrels?
What are the carriers? Is that what you load the pellet into?
Can they be modded for more power?
thanks
nope
easy enough to drill out the carriers to larger internal bores
fact was I have an ass load of CP domes and at the time had a bunch of .177 barrels
was basically using what I had as I had the tanks, regulator & WOK Butt too
also wanted to see where this would perform in .177 before going larger
still need more tinkering but its a damn sight better than much of the full auto AGs being contemplated currently
RS,
I have never owned a 177.
Did you chose the 177 caliber over a 22 or 25 because of the carriers?

Roach:
the RAP 11mm carriers are easy to find, even easier to load
besides I thought thats why you got married again 😉
in any event say you lose a few, at twenty odd bucks a thousand they are cheaper than once fired 5.56mm brass 🙄
Assman
I follow full auto AG developments very closely
That particular one while interesting does not have a great deal of interest for me particularly at the costs involved among another of other factors.
Actually the answer to an effective .177, .22 or even .25 true select fire AG is already here and easy to assemble for WELL UNDER $600.00
First off you need to hunt up a gently used RAP4 LE or METS
picked this one off EBAY last year for under $300

just the gun & mags
these are an 11mm less than lethal platform that run paint, pepper & hard rubber munitions full & semi auto from 23 round mags using a CO2 flask oncealed in the faux buffer tube
additionally RAP offers a BB and a 6mm airsoft conversions that uses a drop in liner and nylon carriers
the carriers are fine, pretty cheap too, seem to recall I bought 10K of the carriers for around $200.00
the insert barrel totally sucks…smooth bore aluminum tubing
I built another one of these last spring thats at my cabin now using a .177 Crosman barrel as a liner…much, much better. This spring I intend on replacing the entire barrel on this example with that .177 Lothar Walther blank in the pic
Though they are born CO2 its easy to run them on HPA
the other one is already set up with a regulated HPA bottle with a WOK disc & butt
system runs great!
mid 700 FPS using CP domes…DO NOT use wadcutter or flat nosed pellets
ROF on full auto runs around 700 RPM
with the RAP4 you have a weaver rail on the upper just like the A3s and M4…battle sights drop right on as do Knights RIS/RAS forends
Figure with careful shopping you can build the same thing for the $400 area as I have seen RAP4s go just a little over $200
Tons of parts & support for these markers
Evidently they are loading the pellets in cases or some kind of carrier, you can see them eject. Now that wold be a pain in the ass to find, and load.

I was always wondering how they got the pellets to feed in the vertical mag ? without crushing them. As far a i know theres only one person whos managed that and its yet to go to market. To get the pellets to feed from a vertical mag and not crush the skirt has been one of my long design studies …..and so far ive failed 😕 . So what there ve come up with is realy a .22 paintball gun maybe as a result of pellet feed problems …. nothing new …. could make one myself ….might do ! .
L8r all 😀
The original prototype sure looked a heck of a lot better. 🙂
Here is a video of one of the prototypes, there are a couple more on you tube.
