my 1377 converted to 1322 with(UPDATE CHRONY RESAULTS IN)
well after the whole ordeal with jim ayers aka j3magnum fucking me around with this whole gun( http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10123 { http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10162 }) incase u didnt see the threads on that
i finally got her done i dry fired it a few times with and with out the tko shroud it is sweet with the tko id say 85% quieter than with it off
although when i pump it it hisses until it hits 5 pumps then it stops
is this normal will it go away with some oiling and breakin time?
i pumped to 10 pumps and let her sit for a few hrs and it was still pressureized.
now for specs
it was a new 1377 i put on a steel breech and added a .22 cal 18″ barrel
a tko trigger kit, i polished the sear up in the gun
i modded the valve for more volume. i will change springs once i chrony it and see what is is shooting like
the valve and piston are flatfaced now
i believe i have around .001″ of headspace between the valve and piston after some close measurements
the scope rings are weaver brand and the scope is a 3-9 x 50 tasco riflescope

ok after adjusting the valve i get 660 fps
on 20 pumps
after 22 it wont dump all the air now
but the string is
660,661,659,660,660,661,660,658,662,660
so it is pretty consistant
im going to look for a 13xx valve any try modding it more and do a better job on it
now i have a shooting gun i can try to take a valve to the extrme
we will see on that but at the numbers i have it is 13.8 ft lbs which is great for a pistol
and the accuracy is killer
ill run the numbers again today also
i adjusted the valve clearance last night and now it pumps a lil harder so i thinnk i gained a few fps any ways weel see in a bit

I like the numbers for a 18in. barrel, 0ver 700 is sweet.
i did allmost the same to mine…bit a porting…more volume in valve….i cant remember speeds but power is at 11 fpe with JSB and 12 fpe with EJ with 25 to 30 pumps
i didnt shroud it but put a can on it that can slide so for short setup you slide it all the way to the frame, and for silence you move it forwards…..when in short mode the can works as a ldc as the baffels allows air to flow back…and forwards its just more efficient

I have several conversions I’ve done and your results seem in line with mine. I typically get around 540fps with 14.3gr pellets on a 14 inch barrel with 12 pumps. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
I’ve got pistons from Gil, Roy at Mountainair, and Jim Ayers (when he first started making them).
I’ve also experimented with low volume, high pressure valves, and high volume valves; flow through bolts and extended bolt probes.
I think my best combination came from a Gil piston (Sadly, Gil no longer makes parts), and a low volume, home modded valve coupled with a flow through bolt. With a 14 inch barrel and 12 pumps, I am getting around 575fps using 14.3gr pellets.
it also will dump 30 pumps
32 pumps and theres a lil pffft
but 30 is a full dump
ok the chrony sting is
10 pumps 533, 532, 537, 533
20 pumps 632, 639, 631, 641
30 pumps 702, 701, 699, 711
all shot with 14.3 gr cps
grouping at 15 yards off a sand bag was same hole
i didnt have any longer shots because i was shooting in my house
i think i can bump u[p the power a lil more by adjusting the piston clearance a lil tighter
i will post resaults monday
i work weekends
and dont have the time to shoot it

Looks good now that you have it together.
What numbers are you getting with it?
Are you cocking it before pumping… if not try that and see if it still leaks.

Not bad numbers… Yeah if you don’t cock it first you will loose air the first few pumps.
I have the same internals with stock barrel and Polly transfer port and threw down 695fps on 20 pumps. Gotta throw the 24″ barrel on and see what it will do.
Im chucking 177 not 22s so yours is hitting pretty hard
