Q:

photos of new adjustable cheek rest on BSA Scorpion

This is a must have item for anyone interested in raising there cheek weld. I don’t know why BSA made these stocks with such a low weld?????

It was easy to install, just drill two holes and your done. Look at how much more rise I needed to for a proper weld, kind of hard to believe, and that is only a 40 mm objective on that Leupold.

I like the way it looks, but quite frankly, even if I didn’t I would have no choice because I needed to do something as the rifle stock was not allowing me to obtain a proper weld.

The picatinny forward of the air tank is a made out of a leupold scope ring and a piece of picatinny left over from another application. I use that for my IR illumination for my nightvision.

My head is kind of narrow and long. Best described as a “Horse Head”. Kind of sad when a man is cursed with a Horse head above and nothing below 😥

There is always the seahorse curse, that’s really small… 😆

Nice work on the cheek rest, kinda scary drilling into the stock at first, then it works great and noting is safe from modification!!!

Looks nice!

Looks OEM, but how fucking small is your head? 😆

If I went with lower rings I would not have enough clearance to put the NV on the scope (the ps 22 mounts to the front objective). As it is, the NV barely clears the barrel.

Yes, it is so much more comfortable now, I can raise it up for a quick snap shot and hit my weld for a perfect f.o.v. I am glad as before I was tying a sponge to it with a bandanna….

Looks good, must be way better to shoot that way. I agree with the rings idea, maybe shorter rings would help? You’re probably positioned pretty good now though.

Why don’t you put the BSA Medium mounts on there? You will have a gap of about a mil between the scope and barrel then.

ATN PS22

Yes, it is much more usable. I wonder how anyone with a BSA Scorpion synthetic stock can use it without some kind of modification????

Sweet, looks alot more usable 8)
What NV you using?
