Thanks for the input. I dont have my new scope yet and my new scope comes with a sidewheel.

I just like the look of those GIANT ONES with all the holes not sure I would spend the money on it but I figured I look into it.

I am fairly confident that what you are seeing are custom made sidewheels. Be prepared to spend between 75 and a 100 bones.

The necessity comes from rangefinding as is common in Field Target competition. In the higher ranges from 45-55 yards, the larger sidewheel facilitates more spacing between yardages so it’s easier to judge the distance.

They are cool, but beware, because if you try and jam your rig into a case with a large sidewheel you WILL fuck up the scope if there is any lateral pressure on the wheel transferred to the scope knob.

Thanks!

What kind of scope do you have? The sidewheels are usually standard equipment and come in the box with the scope.

However, some manufacturers do sell them separately.

I’ve seen aftermarket/custom jobs available, but they’re spendy as all hell.
